about

This experimental one-take recording was made in 2006 and was presented in the Theremin Center of Moscow Conservatory before my teachers and mentors Andrey Smirnov and Jon Appleton, and also my fellow students. The track name is a pun on my friend’s alias - drum27, who was supporting me and inspired to make this track.

After that the original recording was lost, or, at least I believed so.
Digging through the archives I’ve found a broken WAV file which appeared to have that recording. Using a hex editor and hacking skills from my youth I managed to restore the record.

I’ve edited it a little, and asked 2 mastering engineers to make final touches. The results turned out to be so different that I decided to release both versions.

Made entirely on Alesis Andromeda A6.

Sending prayers to my dearest teacher and mentor Jon Appleton.
Many thanks to my friend drum27 for the support.
